The Twig is set up to resemble a trendy boutique that is only for children in foster care, where they can shop with dignity for clothing items and shoes completely free of charge. Our shopping days are on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., and during those times we invite all children in foster care, kinship care, and non-relative care from newborns through teenagers. Children come into foster care with very little and many times only the clothes on their backs. While at The Twig these children are able to have their needs met as well as receive encouragement and be reminded that they are loved. Supporters of The Twig are able to help children gain the self-esteem they need to overcome their circumstances and succeed in their lives.
