The University Park-based restaurant chain First Watch recently hired Mel Hope as its new chief financial officer. Hope has decades of experience leading public organizations like Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Inc., as well as startups. He will lead the company’s finance department and projects, including long-term strategic financial planning, transactional negotiations, financial reporting, budgeting and more. Hope succeeds Paul Hineman, who worked for the organization for four years.
