Former North Port Mayor Jacqueline Moore was recently elected president of the Civility Center's board of directors. Moore is the founder and president The Power & Light Co., LLC, and spent nearly three decades as a coach and trainer, providing leadership development and strategic planning to clients. She founded the Kindness Community in 2016 in order to help create social change by making kindness a way of life. The Civility Center was created to help individuals and organizations champion civility in their communities.
