The University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee recently hired Carlos Moreira as the college's new veteran services administrator at its Military and Veterans Success Center. Moreira is a master of business administration student who graduated from USF Sarasota-Manatee this spring with a bachelor degree in risk management and insurance after receiving a bachelor degree in finance six months earlier. Before enrolling in college, Moreira spent more than 15 years on active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps, plus three years as a reservist.
