Sarasota's Sweet Sparkman Architects recently promoted architect John Bryant to the role of firm principal. Bryant joined the firm in 2012; he served as project manager for the recently completed visual arts center at Ringling College of Art and Design and for the Siesta Key beach improvement project that included two new concession buildings and a restoration of the historic beach pavilion. After receiving a degree in music at Grinnell College, Bryant earned his master of architecture from the University of Maryland in 2007.
