Sarasota's xG Technology, Inc., a wireless communications company, recently appointed company co-founder Roger Branton as chief executive officer. Branton, who has also joined the company's board of directors, was previously the company's chief financial officer. Gary Cuccio, who has served as xG Technology’s interim CEO since April, will continue to serve as the company’s board chairman. While at xG Technology, Branton has been involved in all the stages of its growth, including startup, obtaining growth capital through initial public offerings, and follow-on acquisitions of complementary companies.
