A blackmailing bellhop, a randy psychiatrist and a blustering government official collide in Joe Orton’s classic sex farce, brought to us by Dog Days Theatre, which teams FSU/Asolo Conservatory students with professional actors for a limited-run summer series of plays.  Through July 29 in FSU Center’s Cook Theatre.

Sarasota Improv Festival

Florida Studio Theatre celebrates the fast-paced art of improv at the 10th annual Sarasota Improv Festival, with comedy troupes from all over the country (and France and Spain, too). Just added: That's My Song: An Intimate Evening with Dick Smothers, starring the comedy icon (and Sarasota resident), on July 13.

In Dialogue with Nature: Glass in the Gardens
