Four new single-family models—the Applause, Honor, Liberty 3 and Meadow Brook—are underway and expected to be open late this summer at Neal Communities’ Silverleaf development in Parrish. Silverleaf, located four miles east of I-75 on Highway 301, eventually will encompass 713 homes.  

Home builders Pulte and Lennar have both introduced new model homes at Babcock Ranch, the high-tech, solar-powered new hometown being developed in eastern Charlotte County.  Lennar’s new single-family design, the Palmetto, has three bedrooms, three baths and numerous smart-home features. It is located in Trail’s Edge. Pulte’s Summerwood and Oasis models are located in the Parkside neighborhood.

 Construction has begun on Océane, a six-residence luxury condominium community directly on the Gulf at 4740 Ocean Blvd. on Siesta Key. Completion expected in summer 2019. Prices range from $3.99 million to $4.8 million for the 4,500-square-foot residences. Premier Sotheby’s International Realty is the exclusive marketer.

Taylor Morrison Homes has announced plans to develop Eave’s Bend, a community of single-family homes within the master-planned development of Artisan Lakes in Palmetto. It will offer a variety of floor plans, and residents will have access to an amenity center with resort-style pool, fitness center, playground and pet park.

And Taylor Morrison has broken ground on the amenities center at Esplanade at Palmer Ranch, with a resort-style pool with covered cabanas, spa and 24-hour fitness center staffed with spa manager and nutrition and fitness consultants, and full-service Bahama Bar. Taylor Morrison is building detached villa and single-family floor plans at Esplanade on Palmer Ranch ranging from 1,689 to 3,006 square feet, and soon will introduce garden condos.
