Glasser/Schoenbaum Human Services Center is called the “Campus of Caring” because it is home to over 17 nonprofit health and human services agencies that help low income and at risk adults, children and families. The center occupies 14 buildings on 5-acres in a location selected for its accessibility by public transportation.

In addition, we are the fiscal agent for Publix Charities, 1 of 6 fiscal agents in Sarasota County for Season of Sharing, and the administrator of the local FEMA Emergency Food & Shelter National Board Program. As a Community Liaison, we support 2-1-1, a phone-based resource providing information and referrals to individuals in need.

Each year, 45,000 clients receive services from the agencies housed at the Center. Estimates show that our campus has saved our tenant partner agencies over $10 million in operational expenses since we opened our doors in 1990. The improvement to clients’ quality of life, of course, is unquantifiable but is perhaps the greatest measure of the successful outcomes of the 96 programs offered by our tenant partner agencies.
