Workshop on 21st Century 'Thought and Trends' Starts Jan. 22

Ringling College of Art and Design "futurist in residence" David Houle is presenting a new workshop on “21st Century Thought and Trends" as part of the college's Lifelong Learning Academy. The workshop takes place 7-9:30 p.m. on three consecutive Mondays: Jan. 22, Jan. 29 and Feb. 5, at Temple Beth Sholom, 1050 S. Tuttle Ave., Sarasota. Houle worked in media and entertainment for more than 20 years. He worked at NBC and CBS and was part of the senior executive team that created and launched MTV, Nickelodeon, VH1 and CNN Headline News. In 2015, he co-authored This Spaceship Earth and in 2016 launched a nonprofit of the same name to fight climate change. Registration for his workshop is $250.
