Conference Focuses on Baby Boomer Retirement

The Ringling College of Lifelong Learning is holding a conference on Thursday, Feb. 1, dedicated to issues facing Baby Boomers as they prepare to retire. Boomer Conference 2018: Creating Your Next Chapter with Joy and Purpose will feature speakers, roundtable discussions and networking sessions intended to offer useful retirement strategies and cover retirement’s social and psychological implications. Conference speakers include keynote speaker Nancy Schlossberg and workshop presenters Louise Gallagher, Dr. David Klain, Andrea Nierenberg, Debbie Drinkard Grovum and Susan Larson. The conference runs 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. at Temple Beth Sholom, 1050 S. Tuttle Ave., Sarasota. Registration is $98-$109.
