The Women’s Sports Museum recently named Beth Green as its president of the board of directors for 2018. The board is actively raising money to build the first standalone museum dedicated to women’s sports in the country. Green is a 1994 graduate of Wittenberg University, and also has a master of business administration from Georgia State University. She has lived in Sarasota for 11 years. The museum’s mission is to present and preserve historical documents, artifacts and personal recollections of the participants, reporters, fans, families and friends of all those dedicated to excellence in women’s sports.
