The grocery store chain Earth Fare is opening its new Lakewood Ranch location on Saturday, Jan. 27. The 23,500-square-foot store will be part of The Green at Lakewood Ranch, a 525,000-square-foot mixed-use project located at the corner of Lakewood Ranch Boulevard and E. State Road 70. The chain, based in Asheville, North Carolina, bans hydrogenated oils, artificial sweeteners, high fructose corn syrup and other unhealthy ingredients and uses no genetically modified ingredients in prepared products. The company has 45 locations in 10 states.
