Longtime Florida political scientist Susan MacManus is retiring from teaching at the University of South Florida. She has taught at the college since 1987, leading courses in topics such as state and local government, public administration, urban planning and land use, media and politics. She has been a longtime expert in Florida politics, and has been featured extensively in both local and national media outlets. According to Florida Trend, MacManus plans to continue appearing on television and speaking to civic groups.
