More than 22,000 private-sector jobs were created in Florida in August, while the state’s unemployment rate dropped to 4 percent, according to data released by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity last week. In the past year, the job sectors that have seen the most growth are professional and business services, construction and trade, transportation and utilities.
