Seminar Explores Future of U.S.-Cuba Relations
The University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee is hosing a seminar titled 'What Now, Cuba?' on Sept. 11.
The University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee is hosing a seminar titled “What Now, Cuba?” that will explore what current American policies toward Cuba mean for the future of the two nations. Participants include former U.S. diplomat Vicki Huddleston; Don Rissmiller, chief economist at New York's Strategas Research Partners; and Jorge Duany, director of the Cuban Research Institute at Florida International University. The seminar runs 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 11, and costs $50.
