The Fannie Mae Home Purchase Sentiment Index decreased by 1.5 percentage points in July, after matching its all-time high in June. The net share who reported that now is a good time to buy a home fell by 7 percentage points and the net share of those who say it is a good time to sell a home decreased by 11 percentage points. Americans, meanwhile, expressed a greater sense of job security, with the net share who say they are not concerned about losing their job rising by 9 percentage points.
