Panel Discussion to Focus on Ethics in Media

The panel includes participants from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications, the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, the Observer Media Group and ABC 7.

The next Sarasota Tiger Bay Club luncheon panel will focus on media and ethics, with a discussion that includes University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications dean and former Sarasota Herald-Tribune publisher Diane McFarlin, Herald-Tribune politics editor Zac Anderson, Observer Media Group publisher Emily Walsh and ABC 7 anchor and managing editor Alan Cohn. The panel will be moderated by Visit Sarasota County's Virginia Haley. The event begins with registration at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 3, with the panel beginning at noon. The lunch is at Michael's on East, 1212 S. East Ave., Sarasota, and costs $25 for members and $30 for non-members.
