Sarasota Memorial Hospital was recently ranked among America’s “Most Wired” hospitals by the American Hospital Association. The hospital was joined 460 others in pioneering emerging technologies that promote the secure exchange of patient information and the use of smart devices, tele-health and remote monitoring, and that encourage patients to become more actively involved in their care. Hospitals earning high marks for their use of information technologies were also recognized for developing information technology systems that support quality and safety.
