American consumer confidence ticked up slightly during the month of June, according to new survey results published by The Conference Board.

American consumer confidence ticked up slightly during the month of June, according to new survey results published by The Conference Board, a global business research group. The index had decreased in May, but rose in June from 117.6 to 118.9. Ratings of the present economic situation increased from 140.6 to 146.3 while the index measuring expectations for the future declined from 102.3 to 100.6.
