The locally owned company Bows and Arrows Boutique will celebrate the opening of its first brick-and-mortar store on University Parkway from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 1. The shop, founded by the husband and wife team of Matt Sluizer and Chelsea Havelka, sells fashionable college-branded apparel. Havelka holds a bachelor of science in fashion design and merchandising from Florida State University. She began selling FSU and University of Florida fan goods online in late 2013, and with the help of Sluizer, who holds a bachelor of science in accounting, finance and real estate from FSU, began growing the business. The new store is located in The Market at UTC, 5275 University Parkway, Suite 133, University Park.
