The North Port City Commission on Monday approved plans for a new aquatic center with a lazy river, water slides, a lap pool and more. The total project cost is estimated at almost $12 million. The center is set to be located at Butler Park, 6205 W. Price Boulevard, North Port. Completion of the project is estimated for May 2019.
