Florida’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate dropped to 4.5 percent last month, down 0.3 percentage points from March.

Florida’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate dropped to 4.5 percent last month, down 0.3 percentage points from March and down 0.4 percentage points from a year ago. The state has gained 215,400 jobs so far this year, an increase of 2.6 percent. The American unemployment rate was 4.4 percent in April.
