Drivers will begin using the new diverging diamond traffic pattern at the I-75 and University Parkway interchange the morning of Sunday, May 21. University Parkway will consist of five westbound lanes and five eastbound lanes. Westbound traffic shifts from the north side of University Parkway to the south side and eastbound traffic shifts from the south side of University Parkway to the north side. Motorists wishing to enter the interstate will stay in the left two lanes. You can watch a short video explaining the new traffic pattern above. The interchange is expected to be completed this fall.
