Sarasota BMX is hosting the largest BMX event in Florida in 2017, the SSA Florida Cup Series Finals. The event is expected to draw over 800 riders from around the state, as well as thousands of fans, friends and family members. The Sarasota BMX track is located at 1590 N. Tuttle Ave., Sarasota, and the Finals take place from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. this Saturday, May 20. The event is free, but parking is $10. The track is holding a practice session for riders from noon to 9 p.m. Friday, May 19.
