Five Home Finds from Ethan Allen Design Center’s Sharon Bolding
Disney Bravo Chair: We designed every element of the Bravo Chair to work together for comfort, style and a great big wow. We even designed the fabric to make the most of Bravo’s sweeping silhouette, and we upholster it by hand for you in our North American workshops. The Mr. Mouse fabric is only available on the Bravo Chair. Together they make a truly exclusive showstopper.
Ming Media Cabinet: With Asian influences and inspired by ancient Chinese cabinetry, this media cabinet offers room for stylish storage and display. For centuries, Ming furniture has been crafted from the timber of indigenous trees just like ours is. Ming has the look of an antique that’s been cherished for generations.
Tompkins Desk: More home, less office. Taking its cues from casual, industrial design, this desk’s silhouette is a nod to modern sawhorse design. Its square steel base in a washed zinc finish is topped with a solid oak top. The top is available in an array of beautiful finishes.
Green/White Temple Jars: Generally, we see these jars in blue and white. These exquisite jars are handmade by skilled artisans in Jiangxi, the source of the world’s finest porcelain, using age-old techniques passed down from generations and then meticulously hand-painted by a master underglaze artist with an elegant, exotic motif. Also available in black and white.
The Garner Dining Table: A dramatic dining table that’s sure to wow. The Garner has a wide urn pedestal base and a hand-placed, pieced oak veneer top in a classic parquet design inspired by oak floors found in 17th-century French chateaus. Available in three sizes, 48 inches, 60 inches and 72 inches.
