Luke Nicholas of Sarasota's Allegiant Private Advisors recently earned the chartered financial analyst credential. The designation is widely regarded as a key certification for investment professionals, especially in the areas of research and portfolio management. Earning the credential requires passing three rigorous six-hour exams over a period of years. Candidates must also have at least four years of relevant industry work experience. Nicholas was also recently promoted to the role of portfolio manager.
