Dr. Thomas Trinchetto, the chief medical officer at Doctors Hospital of Sarasota, was recently named by Becker's Hospital Review as one of the "100 hospital and health system CMOs to know." This is the second year in a row that Trinchetto has made the list. According to the publication, the list features national physician leaders dedicated to strengthening their hospital’s patient safety and quality initiatives. At Doctors Hospital, Trinchetto's responsibility is to work with other physicians and hospital administration to ensure the highest standards of care and quality are delivered. Trinchetto served as chief of staff and chief of medicine at Doctors Hospital before assuming the chief medical officer role in 2014.
