The Sertoma Club of Greater Sarasota is hosting its second annual My Hometown Fest from noon to 5 p.m. this Saturday, April 15, at Nathan Benderson Park, 5851 Nathan Benderson Circle, Sarasota. The event features food from more than 40 local restaurants, samples of 60-plus craft beers, live music, a petting zoo and more. Tickets for adults are $40 and include all food and craft beer samples; food-only tickets cost $10 in advance and $20 at the gate. Kids 6 and under are free. Proceeds from the event support the Sertoma Club and its Sertoma Kids Clinic, nonprofits that serve children and others in our community who suffer from speech, language and hearing disabilities.
