Sarasota's Loren Ann Mayo recently founded a new company, luxeFIT, that offers weeklong luxury fitness retreats to exotic destinations. The company's first retreat will be held April 30-May 6 at a beachfront estate in Barbados. The trips combine workout sessions and activities such as surfing, paddleboarding, snorkeling and yoga with healthy cuisine prepared by a private chef. LuxeFIT's head trainer will be Orange Theory instructor Mia Duval, who is based in Sarasota.
