If you’re a midcentury modern fan, you’re in for a treat. Tony McCormack, one of the town’s foremost collectors and dealers, is opening a store. He’ll be selling pieces from his amazing collection of Herman Miller, Knoll and Haywood Wakefield, plus knickknacks, art work, lamps, etc. 

Tony got his start collecting art pottery, mostly American and from the early 1900s. He eventually became president of the American Art Pottery Association and is one of the acknowledged experts in the field. You’ll find a great selection at the new store. 

We love attending auctions with Tony. He’s got a great eye and can spot a vintage Paul McCobb coffee table at 50 paces. Every winter he goes to midcentury heaven—Palm Springs—where he wheels and deals in the active scene out there. 

Prices range from $10 to $10,000. Drop by Saturday, April 1, from noon until 5 for a preview. 500 S. Pineapple Ave.—the same location where the late, fabled Jack Vinales had his store.
