The independent downtown bookshop Bookstore1Sarasota is moving a half a block down the street, from its current location at 1359 Main St. to 12 S. Palm Ave., Sarasota. The store, owned by Georgia Court, first opened in 2011 and has hosted a number of well-known authors and poets. The store will begin moving in mid-February, with plans to reopen before the end of the month.
