The number of closed sales of single-family homes in Sarasota County declined by 10.1 percent between October and November, according to new statistics released Wednesday by the Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee. The number of November sales, 547, was also 3.3 percent lower than the November 2016 number. During the same period, the median sale price for a single family home rose from $279,000 to $285,000. Sales of Sarasota County condos increased by 33.7 percent between October and November. The number of November condo sales was 26 percent higher than the November 2016 number.
