The Healthy Start Coalition of Sarasota County, Inc., recently hired Sara Dawson as its contracts, programs and quality assurance manager. Dawson holds a bachelor of arts in psychology from Southeastern University in Lakeland. She has a long history of working with children and families in the child welfare service system and has held several positions within state-funded organizations throughout her career. She has worked in the Sarasota area since 2000. Healthy Start’s mission is to improve the health and well-being of pregnant women, infants and young children.
