New Federal Aviation Authority regulations for drones went into effect Monday. The new rules govern the "routine non-hobbyist" use of unmanned aircraft that weigh less than 55 pounds. Pilots must qualify for a remote pilot certificate by passing a test and being vetted by the Transportation Security Administration. Drones can only be operated during daylight hours and cannot fly higher than 400 feet or faster than 100 miles per hour. Click here for a full list of rules.
