Gold Star Donuts has perfected the art of the classic yeast doughnut smothered in sweet, sticky glaze. It tastes like it’s been deep fried—which, let’s be real, is what you want—but it’s light and airy enough that you can almost ignore those calories.

Every Wednesday at Morton's Market, the grocery store rolls out the grill and cooks hamburgers, cheeseburgers and hot dogs right in the parking lot. They're delicious--big and juicy--and they come with all the fixings. A hamburger is $5.99, a cheeseburger is $6.50 and a hot dog is $2.99, and the cookout continues through August.

We've loved Fleming's happy hour for years now, especially the tender, flash-fried calamari appetizer. It's got just the right amount of crunch on the outside, but the squid inside is tender and succulent. Top it all off with the sweet chili sauce that's served alongside, which packs just the right amount of punch, and you've got one of the best starters in town.

The Meatball at Baker & Wife deserves that capital M--it's huge. But it's delicious, too: flavorful meat is topped with fresh mozzarella, fresh oregano, basil and Parmesan cheese and served over a bed of spaghetti squash. It's all swimming in a delicious marinara sauce, and we're yearning to order another.

Chicken Kitchen just opened a second location next to Smoothie King in Paradise Plaza, and it's our go-to for a delicious meal that's quick and delicious. Our pick? The Deluxe Chop Chop, which features freshly grilled chicken served over a bed of yellow rice with lettuce and tomato. Yum!
