Two new employees recently joined Sarasota Opera: Steven Grair, the new director of production, and Stephen Fancher, the opera's newest development officer. Grair most recently served as the director of production for the San Antonio Opera and Opera Saratoga in New York. Fancher, meanwhile, has been in Sarasota since 2012 after relocating from the New York area, where he was active as a musician and teacher. He previously worked as a financial adviser with the Mariash Lowther Group at Merrill Lynch.
