Suncoast Aquatic Nature Center Associates, Inc., the nonprofit that manages Nathan Benderson Park, recently hired Robert Sullivan as the organization’s president and CEO. Sullivan will oversee all aspects of the park’s operations and management. Sullivan comes to the area from Wichita Falls, Texas, where he managed the Multi-Purpose Events Center—which includes an arena, convention center, horse exhibition center and memorial auditorium—for the past 11 years. He replaces Paul Blackketter, the nonprofit's original president and CEO, who resigned in April. Sullivan will officially start in the new position on Monday, Aug. 15.
