A 6,200-plus-square-foot Bird Key bayfront mansion sold for $4,925,000 on June 30 after an initial list price of $5.48 million, making it Sarasota County’s highest-priced residential sale in June. The four-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bath home at 364 W. Royal Flamingo Drive was on the market just one month before going under contract. Built in 2007, it has many formal interior details, including 23-foot ceilings, cypress wood beams with gold-leaf detailing, hand-painted murals and an ornate natural stone fireplace. There is a 36-foot by 36-foot saltwater pool. It last sold in 2012 for $4.7 million. Lynne Koy of Coldwell Banker was the listing agent; Mary Pat Pihl of Michael Saunders & Company was the selling agent.
