The Wells Fargo NEXT Seed Capital Award Selection Committee recently named Manatee Community Federal Credit Union as one of its four finalists. The NEXT Seed Capital Award is this year offering a $100,000 unrestricted grant to a community development financial institution with the most promising idea for expanding coverage. According to a press release, the Manatee Credit Union is "confident" that its new app, CreditConnect Daily, will "capture the selection committee’s attention." The app is intended to help average customers manage their financial lives, offering daily credit score updates and other resources.
