The Sarasota County Council of Neighborhood Associations will hold a forum for candidates campaigning for three seats on the Sarasota County Commission at 7 p.m. Monday, June 13, at the Sarasota Garden Club, 1131 Boulevard of the Arts, Sarasota. District candidates are chosen by all voters in the county to represent the districts in which they reside. Candidates seeking the seat for district one are Fredd "Glossie" Atkins, Frank DiCicco and Mike Moran; for district three, Nancy Detert; and for district five, Richard Eaton and Charles Hines. Meet the candidates during social time that begins at 6:30 p.m. The forum is free and open to the public.
