MTech MDM, a Manatee County mobile technology business, is expanding its headquarters in the Bradenton area and plans to create 46 new jobs over the next five years, according to Sharon Hillstrom, president and chief executive officer of the Bradenton Area Economic Development Corporation. Founded in 2012 as a mobile device repair company serving consumers, MTech introduced MTech MDM in 2015 to provide businesses with comprehensive managed services for mobile devices. Currently based in Lakewood Ranch, with 18 employees, MTech MDM will relocate and expand its headquarters and repair center into a new facility in the SRQ Commerce Park in south Manatee County this year. The company also has a repair center in Jupiter, Florida.
