Barbara Epperson has been a pillar to two Sarasota institutions, seeing them through years of changes and growth. At Designing Women Boutique, she began volunteering by joining the Ambassador’s Guild in 2006, and has served as a member of the board of trustees since 2013. 

With the Sarasota Ballet, she has been instrumental in the application process necessary for populating the troupe with the best dancers from around the world. Epperson was educated at Green Mountain College in Vermont and is a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church.
