Local artistic organizations continue to unveil their upcoming 2016-17 seasons, and the Sarasota Orchestra, under music director Anu Tali, is among them.

The third full season programmed by Tali includes performances led by acclaimed guest conductors Case Scaglione (former associate conductor of the New York Philharmonic) and South Korea’s Han-Na Chang, a rising female conductor who made her debut at the BBC Proms in 2014. In addition, part of the orchestra’s Masterworks series, “Tchaikovsky to Tüür,” includes a composer residency for Erkki-Sven Tüür, who composed his Symphony No. 6 in honor of Tali. The Sarasota performance marks its American premiere.

Here’s the line-up for the Masterworks series:

The Rite Music, Nov. 4, 5 and 6, presents Beethoven’s Overture to Egmont, Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E Minor, and, of course, Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring.Violinist Daniel Jordan will appear.

The New World, Dec. 2, 3 and 4, offers Copland’s Appalachian Spring Suite, Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 1, and Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9 (From the New World). Violinist Vadim Gluzman joins the orchestra.

Beethoven & Brahms, Jan. 6, 7 and 8, is conducted by Scaglione and features Beethoven’s Overture to Coriolan, his Piano Concerto No. 3, and Brahms’ Symphony No. 1. The orchestra also welcomes guest pianist Yulianna Avdeeva.

Tchaikovsky to Tüür, Feb. 2, 3, 4 and 5, presents not only that premiere of Tüür’s Symphony No. 6 but also Tchaikovsky’s Melodie from Souvenir d’un lieu cher and his Piano Concerto No. 1. Pianist Simon Trpceski guests.

Estonian Voices, Feb. 23, 24, 25 and 26 presents the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir from Tali’s native country, and works by Arvo Pärt (Credo) and Mozart (Requiem K. 626).

Titan, March 17, 18 and 19, starts off with Bernstein’s Overture to Candide and also includes Tchaikovsky’s Rococo Variations and Mahler’s Symphony No. 1. Sergei Nakariakov will perform on flugelhorn.

And the Masterworks finale, Magnificent Seven, March 31 and April 1 and 2, welcomes Han-Na Chang conducting Rossini’s William Tell Overture, Mendelssohn’s Piano Concerto No. 1, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7. Guest pianist: Bertrand Chamayou.

In addition to the Masterworks series, orchestra fans can tune in to the Pops Series, featuring A Tribute to Elton John with Michael Cavanaugh, Jan. 20 and 21; Leading Ladies of Broadway with Susan Egan, March 3 and 4; and The Music of Sinatra with Michael Andrew, April 21 and 22.

The Great Escapes series gets into Breaking Bad, Oct. 19-22; a Sleigh Ride, Dec. 7-10; Timeless Tales, Jan. 11-14; Romantic Nights, Feb. 8-11; Sounds of America, March 22-25; and The People’s Choice, April 5-8.

Last but not least, the more intimate Chamber Series season offers Music of Our Time, Sept. 22 and 25 (different programs); Quintessential Quintets, Oct. 16; Whimsical Winds, Oct. 27; Poignant Piano, Nov. 17; The Sinking of the Titanic, Jan. 29; Tantalizing Trombone, Feb. 16; and String Quartet: The Finale, March 12.
