Accepting nominations now for the annual 941CEO Greater Good Awards. The deadline for nominations is Friday, May 27.

Sarasota-Manatee’s business community is rich with a spirit of caring and generosity. 941CEO will shine a light on these businesses and individuals in our annual “941CEO Greater Good Awards.” Nominees may be volunteers or contribute financial or in-kind support to improve human services, environmental or arts and cultural institutions. An independent, esteemed panel of judges will choose the winners, who will be recognized both in 941CEO’s September/October issue and at a Sarasota Magazine/941CEO Guide to Giving celebration in the fall.

Please nominate in as many of the following categories as you wish. Individuals and companies may nominate themselves, and we strongly suggest including supporting nominations from other individuals and nonprofits. Please tell us as specifically as possible how the nominee has given back to make our world a better place.

Awards for individual employees and professionals:

Financial (those in business and consumer banking, wealth management and accounting fields)

Retail (owners, managers and employees of all types of retail)

Real Estate (professionals in residential and commercial real estate)

Hospitality (individuals employed in the hotel, restaurant and attraction industry)

Health Care (all medical professionals and employees in hospitals, clinics, senior care facilities and pharmacies)

Building and Design Industry (those working in the building, design and construction fields, such as architects, suppliers, sub-contractors, builders and developers)

Professional Services (professionals in insurance, business services, the trades)

Legal (attorneys and legal staff)

Awards for companies:

Outstanding Small Business (under 50 employees)

Outstanding Large Business (more than 50 employees)
