More Developments Rise in a Booming Market

New condos announced for downtown Sarasota and Lakewood Ranch.

 Construction has begun on the boutique condominium project, Azure on Palm, at 711 S. Palm Ave. in downtown Sarasota. The architecture firm DSDG designed the contemporary building, which will have 16 units ranging from 2,583 to 2,724 air-conditioned square feet. Prices begin at just under $1.4 million.

 Pre-sales have begun for Phase I at The Lakeshore, a luxury lakefront condominium community to break ground this summer adjacent to Main Street at Lakewood Ranch. It will consist of 44 condominiums set along the 160-acre Lake Uihlein. The builder is the Clearwater-based Bullard Group, which has developed large-scale residential and commercial projects in Clearwater, Jacksonville and Fort Lauderdale.

London Bay Homes’ Isabella Grande model is now open at The Founders Club. The three-bedroom, three-bath model overlooks a lake and nature preserve. Within 3,322 square feet of living space, the Isabella Grande also offers a study, formal dining room and great room. Designer finishes echo a coastal contemporary ambiance enhanced by driftwood finishes and a palette of white, gray and taupe.

Developer Mark Pierce has announced plans for The Courtyard at Citrus Square, a condominium project adjacent to Citrus Square, his mixed-use development on North Orange Avenue in the up-and-coming Rosemary District. It will consist of 10 residences on two upper floors and retail and professional storefronts on the ground floor. Prices for the one- and two-bedroom units begin at $375,000.
