On Friday, May 13, members of Toastmasters International will gather at the Tampa Airport Marriot, 4200 George J. Bean Parkway, for three full days of public speaking and leadership training hosted by District 48 of Toastmasters International. Arabella Bengsen—the 1986 World Champion of Public Speaking, one of only four women to win the title—is the keynote speaker for the opening Friday evening event. On Saturday, May 14, workshop sessions from 8:15 a.m. to noon feature business leaders, authors, consultants and professional speakers. Attendees are not required to be members of Toastmasters; registration for non-members is $75.
