Organizers will break ground on Vincent Academy, a new facility offering a "Recovery Through Work" approach for adults living with mental health challenges, at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 14. Located at 1910 Glengary St., Sarasota, the facility will offer education, community integration, skills training and career placement to adults living with mental illnesses. Slated to open this fall, the facility will be 8,500 square feet. The collaboration combines the resources of the Central Florida Behavioral Health Network and Bob and Joan Geyer of Sunset Automotive Group, longtime mental health advocates and Sarasota residents.
