Sparkman to Speak on Architecture as Visual Storytelling

Center for Architecture Sarasota is collecting donations of gently used 20th-century modern furniture and décor for its upcoming Modern Show, which will take place May 13-14 at CFAS’s recently restored headquarters on South Orange Avenue. The Modern Show will include a modern furniture and decorative arts show and sale focusing on works from the 20th century, a lineup of speakers and a vintage fashion show. Jerry Sparkman of Sweet Sparkman Architects, responsible for the newly redesigned Siesta Public Beach facilities as well as many area residential projects, will discuss “Architecture as Visual Storytelling” at a Sarasota Architectural Foundation event Thursday, March 31.
