Architecture in the Public Realm is the theme of Center for Architecture Sarasota’s newest exhibit opening Jan. 12 in the McCullough Pavilion at 265 S. Orange Ave. in downtown Sarasota. An exhibit of local architects’ work, this program recognizes and celebrates the impact architecture makes in our experience of our public space. The exhibit will run through March 10 in the CFAS gallery, which is open to the public Tuesdays through Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m. Events planned during the exhibit include an opening night reception and weekly Gallery Talks with participating architects. CFAS is seeking entries from local architects; the deadline is Dec. 15. For details, visit cfasrq.org/publicarchitecturesubmission.
